The Bookstore at MECC in Holton Hall offers a wide variety of selections. There are gift items available from Flowers Inc., a line of Burt's Bees products, Lizzie candles, and Boyd's Bears. Also available is clothing from Jansport and other vendors, and backpacks by Jansport, High Sierra, and Eastpack. In addition, the Bookstore carries school and art supplies, reference and trade books by authors such as Adriana Trigiani, John Grisham, and others from the New York Times Bestseller List. Local authors and vendors are also supported.

The Mission of the bookstore is to support the academic and administrative goals of Mountain Empire Community College by providing students with the necessary textbooks, school supplies, and other related materials in a pleasant atmosphere while striving to provide excellent customer service.

The Vision of the Bookstore at Mountain Empire Community College is to be an indispensable campus resource for purchases by providing appropriate merchandise and services, by generating income which can augment the college’s future development, and by reflecting an institutional image of competence and quality.
